Each year, IARPT’s journal, The American Journal of Theology and Philosophy, hosts a lecture at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Religion. This year, the AJTP will be delivered by Professor Willis Jenkins of the University of Virginia. It is titled “Migrations of the Sacred: a Multispecies Account of Value Transformation” and engages Hans Joas, climate dislocations, mass extinction, religion and cultural change via the relationship between avian and human migration.

The 2024 annual meeting of the AAR will convene November 23-26 in San Diego, California. The panel will take place on Sunday evening, November 24, at 6:00, in the Marriott Marquis-Torrey Pines 3.  The lecture will be preceded by a brief IARPT business meeting. All are welcome.
